OLIVER, Kenneth William — Formerly of Hastings, ON, passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, ON on Wednesday, December 10th, 2014. Ken will be greatly missed by his two daughters: Beverly Oliver of Regina, Sask; Brenda Hodgins (Jim) of Horseshoe Valley, ON; his six grandchildren, Kristin Hosie, Craig Hosie, Jodie Morrison (Darren), Chris Tunnicliffe, Jeff Hodgins (Lianne), and Krista Vanzuilekom (Todd); his seven great grandchildren, Kai Charles, Burke & Liv Morrison, Mackenzie and Nash Hodgins, and Lilly & Jaxson Vanzuilekom. He will be sadly missed by his brother Ray Oliver and his sisters, Muriel Stephens, Eva Woodhouse, Doris Clysdale, Francis McVety and Karen Boyer (Bob) and his nieces and nephews. Ken will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. A very special thank you to all the caring and compassionate staff at RVH and Waterford Retirement Community in Barrie. A celebration of Life will be held at BRETT FUNERAL CHAPEL, HASTINGS on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. A reception following the service at St. George’s Anglican Church, Hastings. If desired, donations in memory of Ken may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie.
