Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Menzies). Dear father of Charles of Tweed. Step-dad of Trevor Newton (Leisha) of Havelock and Ben Newton (Lisa) of Vaughan. Grandfather of Lucas and step-grandfather of Ryder, Blessing, and the late Precious. Brother of Linda McDonell (Myles). Brother-in-law of Dan Menzies (Lisa), Charles Menzies (Kathy), Joe Menzies, Herb Menzies, Shelley Peebles (John) and the late Sheila Bushie. Son of the late Harold and Nora Johnston. Son-in-law of the late Betty Menzies. Survived by many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Lyle’s life will take place at Mount Pleasant Hall, 1050 Hoards Road, Stirling, on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 1:30 to 4:00 pm.
