FENTON, Murray Reid (Retired Toronto Fire Captain – 35 years service, Community Living Toronto Staff -- 10 years service, Member Hastings Lions – instrumental in building of the riverside gazebo on Front Street, and former member Hastings Branch 106 Royal Canadian Legion) – At Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 19, 2017, Murray Fenton of Hastings, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Foster) for over 71 years. Dear father of Heather Smith (Dave) of Pickering, Lynne Mullens (Wayne) of Louisiana and Hal Fenton (Marylee) of Toronto. `Big Poppa`of Lesley Rossan (Rick), Lindsey Smith and great-grandchildren Keegan and Kelvyn Rossan. Brother of the late Hal Fenton (Phyllis) and Elva Boynette (George). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
