Condolence: In my life, the closest thing to Tolkien's Shire was the Fox family residence near Havelock in the 1960s! Aunt Barbara and Uncle George made a wonderful home for Marjorie and Johnny to grow up in, and a magical place for myself as a young boy and my sister Judy to visit in the summers. These were truly some of my best memories, and I will always be grateful to my kind and gracious aunt and uncle for making them possible. Rest in Peace, Aunt Barbara.

Condolence: Mrs Fox was my Home Ec teacher. Taught me the basics in cooking.
Also taught us how to sew. We had a fashion show i will always remember wearing a orange outfit. Thinking I had rocked the world. That was in the 70's
May she rest in peace knowing she was a great teacher.

Condolence: Miles may have separated us but I will always remember Aunt Barbara with love and gratitude. The kindnesses she and Uncle George showed my brother and I when we were children made a profound positive impact.

She was an amazing woman who had the capacity to heal through love.

Condolence: My sincere condolences John, Marjorie and extended families. Auntie Barbara was always in my heart and I thought of her often even though it has been many years since we have seen each other. She lived a full, long life and had a peaceful passing. That is the best we can all ask for.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm not sure if teachers fully realize how lasting their impressions on students can be... I have such fond memories of the kind and gracious Home Economics Teacher who very patiently guided so many of us through stitches and baking... I remember her sweet smile, gentleness and support... how lucky you were to have her in your life... Rest in Peace Mrs. Fox
