LYNCH, Virginia Anne (CWL Life Member) — Died suddenly at home on Thursday, May 4, 2017, Virginia Lynch (nee Lytle) of Norwood, formerly of Hastings in her 78th year. Wife of the late John William ‘Jack’ (2003). Loving mother of Joseph, John (Brianne), Nancy Moloney (Clair) and Debbie. Treasured grandmother of Hannah & Jonathan Lynch, Meaghan Lynch (predeceased), Ben, Molly, Carlie & Shauna Moloney. Loving sister of Josephine Prisk (late Charlie), Geraldine Walker, Edward (Colleen) both predeceased, Marguerite Lamey (John) both predeceased, Jewel Martin (Lorne) both predeceased, James, predeceased (Dorothy), Jack (Louise), Patricia, Susan, Daniel (Katie), Rique (Debbie) & infant brother Robert Joseph. Dear sister in law of Helen Pullyblank (Robert) both predeceased, Mary Shaughnessy, predeceased (Reg), Albert (Marie) & Edward Lynch (predeceased). Also predeceased by her parents Joseph Edward Lytle and Vera Joy Vilneff.
She will be fondly remembered by many relatives, nieces and nephews for her generous and warm hospitality. A cherished member of the large Lytle and Lynch families. Virginia was a Life Member (received in 1992) of the C.W.L., former Peterborough Diocesan C.W.L. President. Proud farmer, home maker who loved to sew, loved history and travel. Family and friends may gather at BRETT FUNERAL CHAPEL, HASTINGS from 9:30am – 10:45 am on Saturday, May 6th, 2017. A funeral Mass will follow at OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL CHURCH, HASTINGS at 11:00 am, Reverend Joseph Devereaux officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hastings.
