Condolences

Condolence From: Karen Halliday & Jake Stezinar
Condolence: Dear Helen and family, Jake and I are truly sorry for your loss. Please accept our deepest condolences. Both you and Bill always welcomed me and then Jake and I into your home. I have such fond memories of playing the occasional game together and attending fall fairs. I liked Bill's humour and respected his character as a man - he loved his family. We will miss him and will be thinking of you during this time. Regards, Karen & Jake.

Condolence: Uncle BIll will be deeply missed by all of us in the Whitney clan. There are too many great memories to leave here but my fondest are of my first hunt with Grandpa, Uncle Bill and and Uncle Ken. The hunting was actually a lot of fun and grandpa missing a buck by shooting under and over it 8 times and the ribbing he took from Bill and Ken was a memory I will never forget. The Uker games were spirited(perhaps a little loud) as was the banter. I learned more about the outdoors from these three men than most will ever know. I remember sitting on a watch with Grandpa and listening as he waxed on about how we measured wealth at the time was all wrong and it was not a measure of how much money we had. I asked what he meant as surely my vast knowledge as a 15 year old I knew that wealth was a measure of money, Right?. Grandpa looked at me and left me with the greatest piece of knowledge I will ever receive. He said the measure of a man's wealth can never be counted by the money in his account or the land he owns, it is the love of his family and friends that we are measured by. If that measure is placed on Uncle Bill, there are very few that were wealthier. XOXO Love James, Jen, Jess and Hannah
