It seems like just the other day that your dad came by to meet us; I was not around at the time, but my children told me all about it. Since then I kept telling myself that I should go down and see him, but settling down in a new place is quite daunting, especially if you intend to start a full-fledged farming operation at the same time. As a result, I regret having lost the opportunity of meeting his wonderful personality. We have only been here in Roseneath a short time, but the kindness of neighbours like yourself and your family has made us feel quite welcome. I am sure that this community will feel the loss of your dad greatly.
