Toffner, Daniel J. - 1949-2017 — Sandy, his wife and best friend of 30 years, lovingly held Dan's hand as he passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5th, 2017. He will be greatly missed by his daughters Tammy (Kevin), Traci (Riley), his grandchildren Tyler & Ryan, brothers Mike (Debbie) & Rick (Lynne) and many other family members & friends who knew and loved him. Thanks for all of the love and support that we have received during this long fight. In keeping with Dan's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held BRETT FUNERAL CHAPEL, 76 Bridge St. N., Hastings on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 1:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Dan's Life at the Legion on 10 Front St. W. in Hastings. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson’s Canada, Craig’s Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society or Hastings Public School (KPRDSB c/o Hastings Public School) would be greatly appreciated.
