BEGG, Frederick William (Retired farmer, long-time organist at local churches and Brett Funeral Chapels, member of The Peterborough Singers) – At Peterborough Regional Health Centre, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, Fred Begg of Norwood, in his 63rd year. Beloved son of Marilyn Begg (late Ray Begg) of Norwood. Dear brother of Barbara Sherwin (Paul) of Hastings, Joan Smith (Bill) of Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec and Jack Begg (Nancy) of Norwood. Also survived by his nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at NORWOOD UNITED CHURCH on Saturday, November 25, 2017, with visiting from 10:00 am to time of Service at 11:00 am, Reverend Don McLean officiating. In Fred’s spirit of kindness and generosity, he has donated his body to medical science at Queen’s University. Interment at a later date at Norwood Asphodel Cemetery.
