VARTY, Harold John — Peacefully at Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood, January 8, 2018 in his 83rd year. Husband of the late Mary Deline (nee Snider). Dear step father of Robert, Steven (Lori), Ed (Patricia), and the late Karen Tighe. Step grandpa of Bill, Jeremy, Ryan (Mindy), Jacob, Jonah, Justin, Kurtis, Sean & great granddaughter Emily, Wesley, Jillian, Gabby, Lilly, Steven and James. Brother of Rita Lunn, Eileen Menzies, Marion, and the late Helen Quackenbush, Eugene & Bud. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Son of the late Roy & Louella (nee Robertson). Family and friends may gather at BRETT FUNERAL CHAPEL, HAVELOCK, Friday, January 12, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 2:00pm. A funeral will follow in the chapel at 2:00pm, Reverend David Estabrooks officiating. Spring interment at Pine Grove Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Havelock Fellowship Baptist Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
