SUMMERS, Ruby Madeline (Long time member Hastings Legion Branch 106) – At Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood, on Saturday, July 7, 2018, with family by her side, Ruby Summers (nee Scriver) formerly of Hastings, in her 91st year. Wife of the late Eric (2017) for 70 years. Dear mother of James (Eleanor) of Campbellford, Linda Rostron (John), Mari Summers and Melovia Summers, all of B.C. and Karen Summers of Hastings. Grandma will sadly missed by her five grandsons, eight granddaughters, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Sister of Reed Scriver, Bruce Scriver, Elma Brown and the late June Hart, Lavella Berridge, Lois Steed, Ruth Bryer, Lucy-Mae Snarr, Aubrey, Paul, Carl, Ron and Andy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the BRETT FUNERAL CHAPEL, HASTINGS on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 11:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 noon, Reverend Jamie York officiating.
