My Mentor

In my lifetime there have only been a handful of women that I would call true mentors to me, and one of them is Joy Keating. As a young mother becoming involved in church activities she showed me what it was to have the opportunity to visit homes of people that were in need and extend a hand of compasion. Acts of love and kindness that I will never forget. Joy instilled in me the love for MIssions at home and around the world. Many times as I had an opportunity to speak of my life in Canada I would reflect on this wonderful person that taught me so much. What a wonderful heritage to your family and those that have had the honour to know you Joy Keating. Great will be your reward.
