Walsh, Irene Gertrude (nee Gibson, Member of C.W.L.) — Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, July 11, 2017 in her 102nd year. Wife of the late David Walsh (1983). Dear mother of Bernard & Bernadette of Ballybofey, County Donegal, Ireland, and Peter & Rosemary of Waterloo. Loved grandmother of Sarah, Maeve, Áine, David, Brian, Anthony, and Anne Marie. Dear sister of the late Nellie Doherty, Madeline Winfield, Leo, Jack, Gordon & Vince Gibson. Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may gather at BRETT FUNERAL CHAPEL, HASTINGS on Thursday from 7-9pm and on Friday from 10:00 – 10:45 am. Parish prayers will be held on Thursday at 6:45pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL CHURCH, 51 Albert Street E. , Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00am, Father Joseph Devereaux officiating.
