I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of a great and respected friend. Although our policing paths took different directions in 1984, I will always remember the close friendship and working relationship I shared with Pendy at 5 Traffic. He was one of the first to extend a hand of friendship when I first arrived at 5 Traffic in 1976, and we also spent some wonderful times together in the dungeon at 180 Yorkland Blvd. At the present time I myself am dealing with some health issues that will prevent me from expressing my condolences in person, I am thinking of Pearl and the family at this very difficult time.
