I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I enjoyed reading her obituary, and learning about her life and family. She must have been a very loved woman. I have to tell you that I am rather an avid genealogist, and I am wondering if her husband, Dr. Don, of Havelock, happens to be me the Doctor Donald James Holdcroft who was my father's family doctor many years ago. My Doctor Holdcroft was married in 1924 to Hazel Winnifred Adams, but she was killed in a car accident in 1946. I expect that he would have married again. I can't imagine that there were two Doctor Donald Holdcroft's in a town the size of Havelock. I'm sorry to use this site to make this contact, but I couldn't think of how else to ask the questions I wanted to ask. We aren't related to the Holdcrofts except for the fact that the good doctor spent many hours patching up dad and his brothers - the Gordon Alexander Young family - for which we are very grateful.
