The only story my mom can recall in any detail has to do with the day my dad and his brothers decided to go diving off a cliff without checking the depth of water they were jumping into. Well, my dad's head hit the rock just below the surface of the water, and his brothers carried him back to Dr. Don's office to be patched up. My Uncle Roger Young used to say that even though Dr. Don had a drink every once in a while, he was a good doctor.
